The Master Manipulator is a MAN.

So, this is going to be some pretty semi-angry blogging. And if you are a guy, you might not want to read this. Because I might bring a little bit of truth here (not with a capital T, ha).

It’s interesting to me how men, even Christian men, can manipulate so well (which goes to show you that it doesn’t matter how much a person reads about their identity in Christ, they still are a stupid boy in the end). They have their whole sob story, string you on, let you feel bad about them a little, and as soon as they have you convinced that they’re a “nice guy”, they reel you in. And how many people have they told this story to? I remember in high school I was drawn in by all the thugs, sweet-talking away at me. And how attractive is it to think that a bad guy has a good side to him? That a bad guy can be sweet?

What’s also hilarious to me is how many guys complain how good guys never get the girl; good guys always lose. Are you really a “good guy”? A lot of guys who say this are just a bad guy in disguise–a bad guy with a good story. It’s not the good guys who lose (because contrary to the bull my mother has pounded into my head, I still believe that there are good guys out there…somewhere), it’s the bad guys who try to impersonate good guys. Maybe the movie The Ugly Truth is right–all a guy wants is to get into a girl’s pants. He doesn’t care at all about her personality or her intelligence, as long as she isn’t too intelligent to figure him out.

Daddy-o, you’ve got the swagger of a champion
Too bad for you, you just can’t find the right companion
I guess when you have one too many, makes it hard, it could be easy
Who you are, that’s just who you are, baby

Lollipop, you must mistake you’re a sucker
To think that I, would be a victim, not another
Say it, play how you want it
But no way I’m never gonna fall for you, never you, baby

Womanizer, woman-womanizer, you’re a womanizer,
Oh womanizer, oh you’re a womanizer, baby
You you you are, you you you are
Womanizer, womanizer, womanizer (womanizer)

Boy don’t try to front
I (I) know just (just) what you are-are-are
Boy don’t try to front
I (I) know just (just) what you are-are-are

(You) You got me going
(You) You’re oh so charming
(You) But I can’t do it
(You) You womanizer

Exactly Mister.

Once again, I’m writing this because I’m mildly upset. And not really at a particular person. But it WAS a particular person who made me really think about this. I know that obviously the Lord has created MEN. But I really do feel like many of the “men” I know are in disguise.
